The Discovery Process: Quality Guaranteed
As a specialized solo studio, we do not believe in automated printing. Every order at Moikas begins with a Technical Discovery Review to ensure your model is actually printable before we ever charge you for materials.
Your $10 Technical Setup Fee Covers:
Manifold Integrity Check: We manually inspect your mesh for non-manifold errors, such as holes or thin walls, that cause structural failures.
Orientation Optimization: We find the perfect angle to maximize part strength and ensure a clean surface finish.
Finalized Quote: You will receive a transparent price based on the exact weight of your model.
Material & Color Customization
We specialize in high-performance polymers from industry leaders like Polymaker and Sunlu.
Standard Stock Colors: We maintain a constant stock of the following premium filaments. There is no extra sourcing fee for these colors:
Slate Black (Matte PLA): A professional, non-reflective finish that hides layer lines for a molded look.
Arctic White (PLA): A crisp, high-visibility finish ideal for prototypes and high-detail models.
Industrial Black (PETG): High-strength, heat-resistant plastic for functional mechanical parts and outdoor use.
Specialty & Custom Colors: If your project requires a specific color we do not currently stock, a $20 Material Sourcing Fee applies per unique color requested. This fee covers the procurement of a full 1kg spool specifically for your build.
Multi-Color Printing (AMS Powered): We offer multi-color printing (up to 4 colors) using the Bambu AMS system. Due to the significant increase in machine time and the material waste (purge) required for color swaps, multi-color prints incur a $10.00 Multi-Color Setup Fee.
Production & Lead Times
Standard Production: Most custom prints are processed within 3 to 5 business days once the final quote is paid.
Technical Review: Discovery reports are typically delivered within 24 hours of your initial file upload.
Queue Status: As a specialized solo studio, lead times may vary based on current machine volume. Orders paid after 2:00 PM will begin their production timeline on the next business day.
How to Get Your Custom Quote
Upload Your File: Attach your .STL, .OBJ, or .3MF file (Max 10MB).
Specify Your Needs: Tell us if this is for Looks (PLA) or Function (PETG), and include your color preference.
Review and Approval: We will email you our Technical Discovery Report and a direct checkout link for the material and shipping.
